About The Position

The Graduate School seeks a detail oriented and self-directed person to provide administrative support to the Graduate School. Duties include administrative support for data management; collecting data/information for monthly and annual reports; assisting with graduate student registration and billing, programming activities and providing administrative support to the Graduate School. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, and will demonstrate: Knowledge of: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) Filing systems, both manual and electronic Modern office equipment, practices and procedures Ability to: Manage multiple projects and provide excellent customer service Communicate effectively in oral and written form Effectively coordinate, plan and implement Programming activities Work independently with attention to detail and comply with deadlines Interpret and comprehend graduate program policies and procedures Advise graduate students with registration Maintain confidentiality Provide administrative support to Graduate School (coordinate meetings/ schedules, activities, correspondence, plan travel, maintain files, invoices, and reimbursements) Qualifications include: Experience with the University's systems/policies/procedures or experience in higher education is highly desired.

Requirements
