Program Analyst – HQMC Plans, Policies and Operations
About The Position
Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking a Full-Time, Desk-Aligned, Embedded Program Analyst to support HQMC Plans, Policies and Operations at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This position requires a graduate of Marine Corps Command & Staff College or Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education course. The analyst will collect strategic-level observations, support senior leader taskings, and link lessons to policy and planning. This role supports HQMC and Supporting Establishment decision-making as described in Task 2 of the scope of work.
Requirements
- Graduate of Marine Corps Command & Staff College or Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education course
- Experience in the following areas: Systems Section in the Readiness Branch of Plans, Policies and Operations; developing requirements and implementing enterprise software solutions; Plans Officer roles; Operations Officer positions; Joint Interagency Coordination; DASC Officer duties; or Marine Civil Affairs
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Must be able to work on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-level military environment
Responsibilities
- Collect strategic-level observations from HQMC and Supporting Establishment operations
- Support senior leader taskings and requirements
- Link lessons learned to policy and planning initiatives
- Provide analytical support for HQMC decision-making processes
- Coordinate with Supporting Establishment organizations as needed
