About The Position

Information Operations, Plans, and Exercise Planner The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge, your understanding of geopolitical dynamics, especially in the Indo-Pacific region, and your advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems—and find advanced technology solutions that keep our nation safe. You will provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for military senior leader consumption. You'll also provide research and analysis of various pertinent national security policies, military strategies, vulnerability assessments, threat and intelligence assessments. This position will identify operational areas of concern, inform planning efforts, help develop new concepts, be the cornerstone of exercise planning, drive scenario development and execution, monitor expected scenario outcome, and identify new capabilities for Information Operations (IO) and Information Warfare (IW). You’ll complete individual projects with minimal supervision and work collaboratively in team setting. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience at a Combatant Command or Service Component HQ in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations
  • 1+ years of experience working with Artifi cia l Intelligence LLMs
  • Experience with Theater Campaign Plans (TCPs) and Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans and Operations Plans (OPLANS)
  • Experience developing and handling classified products and briefing materials, and briefing senior leaders
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of adversary information capabilities and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Ability to assess how IO and IW can shape the operational environment in alignment with mission objectives
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience combined in IO, IW operations, capability development, and policy, or 5+ years of experience combined in IO, IW operations, capability development, and policy in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience applying the principles of operational design and the joint planning process
  • Experience with developing key leader talking points that clearly convey complex IO and IW concepts and strategies
  • Experience coordinating with other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Combatant Command and Service Components, and non-DoD organizations, such as DHS and State Department
  • Ability to work proficiently with information-related tools, platforms, and software used for analysis and operations, GIS tools, data visualization, or IO-specific technologies
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree
