About The Position

Mayvin, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst/Action Officer to support a government Program Manager execute their program. This role provides programmatic, technical, and acquisition support within the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC). The ideal candidate has significant experience in underwater EOD technologies (robotics and autonomous systems), S&T acquisition experience, and experienced in rapid transition of material capabilities into existing acquisition programs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of Navy experience
  • 5+ years of NAVSEA Program Office experience, Acquisitions and PPBE
  • 3+ years of experience with Navy EOD operations (UUV experience and/or Advanced Sensors)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with the Navy POM and Budget planning cycle
  • Ability to generate, evaluate, and guide technical reports, briefings, and other stakeholder communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and time management skills with the ability to quickly turn-around requests
  • Ability to attend and organize program reviews/site visits/field tests
  • Clearance Required: SECRET

Responsibilities

  • Support technical analysis on new technologies to determine potential suitability and rapid transition to EOD force for underwater employment.
  • Identify and analyze candidate technologies for feasibility/suitability for traditional S&T as well as SBIR, STTR, DIA and APFIT nominations to eventually transition to UWEOD programs.
  • Generate acquisition plans and strategies to transition new technologies into existing UWEOD acquisition programs.
  • Monitor, evaluate and identify action needed to address challenges that performers experience in transitioning new technologies to full rate production and sustainment.
  • Support the generation of acquisition plans and strategies, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
  • Help coordinate cross-functional teams from government and industry to facilitate the delivery of reliable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Support system lifecycle activities (software development, deployment, maintenance, updates, and user support) to maintain system reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements, align priorities, and support milestone achievement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across DoD and industry to inform capability development and milestone planning.
