About The Position

ODA is looking for a dynamic leader to join the Executive Leadership team as the Program Administrator. This position reports to Aging’s Chief Administrative Officer and has responsibility for providing strategic direction &/or recommendations for cross-divisional projects. The Program Administrator will manage cross-divisional projects and provide technical advice to assist the Chief Program Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer in decision making. The job duties of this position include but are not limited to: Program management Coordinate and lead internal strategy meetings Analyzing and evaluating program policies and directives Submit recommendations for programs Provides strategic administrative support to Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Program Officer Manages and coordinates high-profile speaking engagements and public appearances For more in-depth duties, please click here to view the position description. Requirements

  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Skilled in change management with an ability to juggle several complex projects at once.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and proficiency with scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, and experience in public speaking or presentations.
  • Professional demeanor, strong presentation skills, and the ability to represent senior executives effectively.
  • 5 yrs. trg. or 5 yrs. exp. in business administration, management or public administration. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management or public administration; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position. -Or completion of undergraduate core program for academic field of study commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on File; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development. -Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 2, 63123. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the State of Ohio government operations and regulations a plus.
