This is an Internal Agency Opportunity for qualified candidates currently employed with the Department of Children and Families. This position is for a Program Administrator- SES for Circuit 14 located in the Panama City, FL Service Center. Teleworking is not an option for SES positions. Some travel will be required. Facility is a tobacco free environment. The bi-weekly salary range for this position is $2,019.24. The individual occupying this position is responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures of the Economic Self-Sufficiency Programs are correctly administered within the Region. This position requires supervisory, administrative and management expertise to guide the delivery of services for families and adults in Economic Self-Sufficiency direct services programs within the Northwest Region in accordance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations and regional procedures. PRIMARY DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Administrative supervision and coordination of all direct service operations related to the assigned service or program area including the direct supervision and appraisal of the performance of line supervisors and reviewing the performance of direct service staff. • Appropriate delegation of authority to line supervisors and the review, approval of personnel actions and assignments made by them. • Provision of direct consultation to supervisors during the personnel recruitment process. • Direct provision or arrangement for the provision of staff development, training, and programmatic or administrative technical assistance to staff to assure the opportunity of meeting their fullest performance potential. • Management of the program and administrative functions of assigned departmental service units including the assessment of service utilization effectiveness, development and monitoring of corrective action plans and directing intra-program coordination to insure timely and effective service delivery. • Assisting in case management decisions, when necessary, through coordination with district program office staff, attendance at programmatic meetings, and individual case staffing. • Participation in management and operations meetings to present service area issues and input into administrative decisions regarding overall operational needs. • Efficient and equitable distribution and control of allocated service area staff, facilities, supplies and equipment. • Community and service delivery coordination through identification of gaps in service provision and collaborating in the development of resources to meet identified needs. • Inputting to district administration as to resource needs. • Development of working agreements/relationships and effective service coordination among departmental program units, other human service agencies, and the general community regarding departmental programs. • Investigation and response relative to services provided and taking necessary corrective action when indicated.
