The Program Administrator 2 plays an integral role at the board. The job duties of the Program Administrator 2 will include the following: Manages business functions of the administrator's office, including processing invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, preparing and monitoring budgets, overseeing compliance with fiscal policies and Auditor's requirements, managing inventory, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and the Board, and reconciling payroll. Acting for administrator (e.g., independently conducting research in order to formulate and implement policies and procedures for assigned program areas) Maintaining Board's office policies and employee handbook Planning, directing, and appraising work of assigned office staff, including clerical and lower-level administrative employees (e.g., approving leave time, preparing performance evaluations, recommending discipline, when necessary, providing training and development) Analyzing and evaluating programs, procedures, and policies (e.g., manages electronic licensing [i.e., eLicensing] program, updates eLicensing database, generates wallet cards, renewals, and delinquent notices, and establishes customer-facing online payments) Assisting with website content editing and ensuring the website adheres to applicable laws, rules, state standards, and requirements, acting as eLicensing liaison to other state agencies (e.g., Department of Administrative Services, Office of Information Technology, State Printing, State Mail, and State Treasurer's Office) Assisting with licensing examinations as needed (e.g., grading exams, coordinating examination information with subject matter experts and National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors) Providing examination proctoring, oversight, issuing results, and updating the eLicensing database Evaluating and approving Certificate of Authorization application Position is unclassified pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 124.11 (A)(8).
