About The Position

Molloy's Tutoring Services tutors provide students with individualized assistance for course content and assignments. Professional Tutors lead one-on-one or small-group lessons.

Requirements

• Expertise in teaching at the college level would complement this role.

Responsibilities

• Work with students to help them understand key Organic Chemistry principles, especially those learned in the classroom.
• Reviewing syllabi topics and assignments with the student(s).
• Assist students with homework, test preparation and other academic tasks.
• Assist students to improve their academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions.
• Develop and distribute teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides.
• Providing students with positive and constructive feedback.
