About The Position

HJ Staffing is currently seeking a Professional Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as the vital link between technical teams and business units, assisting in the research, assessment, and alignment of IT solutions with core business initiatives.
Role Overview
As a Professional Business Analyst at HJ Staffing, you will support multiple accounts by analyzing business goals and designing processes that improve operational efficiency. This is a collaborative role that requires a blend of analytical thinking and strong communication to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into technical reality.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience: 3+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Technical Interface: Proven experience working at the interface of IT and functional business groups.
• Process Knowledge: Experience with business process re-engineering and a foundational understanding of computer programming concepts/languages.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with the ability to multitask in a team environment.
• Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders.

Responsibilities

• Process Design: Assist in planning and designing business processes and formulate recommendations to support business activities.
• Requirements Documentation: Analyze and document client requirements; communicate these to technical teams using conceptual data/process models, data dictionaries, and volume estimates.
• Testing & QA: Create and execute basic test scenarios to verify that system designs meet client needs; analyze test results across various project phases.
• Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, explore solutions, and conduct technical reviews to ensure the "intent of change" is maintained.
• Systems Support: Develop and modify systems requirements documentation to meet evolving client needs.
