About The Position

The Professional Services Technical Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in helping customers successfully adopt Lynxis products. This role combines business process consulting, technical documentation, and integration-focused analysis to translate operational requirements into scalable solution designs. You will work closely with customers, solution architects, and development teams to design workflows, document system behaviors, and support implementations involving APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise data integrations. This position is ideal for candidates coming from Technical Business Analyst, enterprise integration, or event-driven architecture environments who want to be hands-on in delivery while maintaining a consulting mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Professional Services consulting role.
  • Strong background in technical documentation and requirements analysis.
  • Experience working with enterprise integrations, APIs, or distributed system architectures.
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems or messaging platforms (Kafka or similar).
  • Experience collaborating with development teams in Agile environments.
  • Ability to translate technical systems into clear business workflows and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise implementations or consulting engagements.
  • Exposure to messaging systems, data pipelines, or integration-heavy platforms.
  • Background reviewing or contributing to development work (SQL, scripting, or backend logic).
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Consulting Lead discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, operational challenges, and system integration needs.
  • Translate business requirements into structured technical artifacts that support implementation delivery.
  • Advise customers on workflow design, automation opportunities, and system integration approaches.
  • Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Enterprise Integration & Technical Analysis Analyze and document integrations involving APIs, event-driven systems, and enterprise messaging platforms.
  • Work with architects and developers to define: API interaction models Data mappings and schemas Workflow triggers and system dependencies Support projects involving technologies such as Docker, Kafka, ETL pipelines, or distributed service architectures.
  • Assist with troubleshooting integration issues by reviewing logs, message flows, and system behaviors.
  • Documentation & Solution Design Create implementation-ready documentation including: Functional and technical requirements Workflow diagrams and process models Integration specifications and API documentation Configuration and delivery guides Establish clear documentation standards that improve collaboration across teams.
  • Maintain traceability from requirements through implementation and validation.
  • Delivery Collaboration Partner with solution architects, developers, and product teams during implementation cycles.
  • Participate in agile delivery practices such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and documentation reviews.
  • Support validation efforts by reviewing implementations against business and technical requirements.
  • Provide light technical contributions or analysis where development context is beneficial.
  • Client Engagement Participate in customer workshops, planning sessions, and delivery checkpoints.
  • Participate in implementation projects for customer go-lives Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, structured, and business-friendly way.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders through organized and transparent consulting practices.
