About The Position

As a Professional Accountant at Gainwell, you will assist the Revenue team with monthly revenue and billing entries, create and update reporting, and assist with reconciliations.  This is a fully remote team that requires good communication skills and team commitment to complete our monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on revenue preferred.
• Proficient in working in spreadsheets with Pivot tables and multiple formulas.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accrual and invoice entries, including outreach to business teams.
• Assist in the creation and updating of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, mostly in Excel spreadsheets.
• Assists with variance analysis and account reconciliation.
• Assists with internal and external audit requests and questions.
• Will learn and comply with HIPPA privacy and security rules.
• Will be a team player, able to communicate clearly with all levels of co-workers but able to work independently.
• May need to work extended time during monthly close in order to meet deadlines.
