About The Position

This position, a Production Worker / Log Line Operator, involves moving and stacking logs onto 36x40 pallets to create bulk log units. The operator is responsible for monitoring product quality, removing any product that does not meet criteria from the primary stack, and then moving full racks of logs to a designated cooling area. Further duties include banding, stretch wrapping, and covering the units with a waterproof cover before placing them outside for storage. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Good eye, hand and foot coordination
• Ability to pass the company forklift training
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Ability to read and interpret scales

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift experience
• Prior production line experience

Responsibilities

• Move and stack logs high to a pallet measuring 36x40 to create a bulk log unit
• Watch the quality of product & move product that doesn't meet criteria out of primary stack
• Move the full rack of logs to a designated cooling area
• Band the unit, stretch wrap the unit, place a waterproof cover over the unit and place outside for storage
• Other duties assigned
