About The Position

This is a full-time Production Worker / Log Line Operator position. The shift is Monday – Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. The role requires a pre-employment background check and drug screen. The primary duties involve moving and stacking logs to create bulk log units, monitoring product quality and removing non-conforming products. Once a rack is full, the operator moves it to a designated cooling area. The operator then bands, stretch wraps, and places a waterproof cover over the unit for outdoor storage. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Good eye, hand and foot coordination
  • Able to pass the company forklift training
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
  • Able to read and interpret scales

Nice To Haves

  • Prior forklift and production line experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Move and stack logs high to a pallet measuring 36x40 to create a bulk log unit
  • Watch the quality of product & move product that doesn't meet criteria out of primary stack
  • Move the full rack of logs to a designated cooling area once the rack is full
  • Band the unit, stretch wrap the unit, place a waterproof cover over the unit and place outside for storage
  • Other duties assigned
