About The Position

Kimball Medical Solutions is a Medical Device Contract Manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN and we are looking for a Training Coordinator. This role will report directly to the Operations Manager and plays an integral part in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing training programs to elevate organizational performance and exceed global benchmarks. This role is central to creating and maintaining robust training materials and certification methodologies tailored to our plant’s operational priorities and workforce competency requirements. By delivering targeted technical and compliance training—including FDA and industry standards—the Training Coordinator ensures employees are equipped with the necessary skills to meet stringent quality management standards. The position also supports soft skills development, career growth, and mentoring of staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and adaptability. Through needs assessments and ongoing collaboration with production teams, the Training Coordinator drives sustained employee and customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and compliance with regulatory demands. Success in this position hinges on strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, precise documentation, and excellent time management. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Adult Learning or Instructional Design: Formal coursework, certification, or hands-on experience in adult learning principles and curriculum development can enhance training engagement and effectiveness
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO 13485 standards
  • Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster their professional growth
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the company
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Hands-on Manufacturing Experience: Previous direct experience working in production, assembly, or quality control roles deepens credibility and provides practical insights for training content
