The Technical Operator is responsible for safely achieving production demands and quality requirements within a defined time-frame, from preparation to filling, while remaining compliant with hygiene, HACCP and work safety guideline. The technical operator is also responsible for maintaining equipment reliability by performing basic maintenance tasks as needed. Your Responsibilities: Operates production machines by means of automatic/manual controls, and adjusts production equipment to product-specific parameters according to the daily production plan and the observance of time parameters. Processes raw and semi-finished products according to the recipe, manufacturing and operating instructions for all departments. Takes samples and conducts quality controls, forwarding the results to Quality as needed. Fills finished products into appropriate packaging. Initiates and controls repairs, maintenance and modifications of machines in close coordination with the supervisor and maintenance department. Performs PM’s on all assigned equipment. Records all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.). Performs CIP/COP and general sanitation as needed. Implements the internal and legal specifications and guidelines concerning hygiene, HACCP, food and work safety and environmental protection. Informs Supervisor and Manager on issues or immediate needs that may impact the department. Adheres to GMPs within appropriate zones. Interacts with and inputs data into SAP. Performs general sanitation duties. Assists in other areas of production as needed.
