This position is located in our Iola, Wisconsin facility Summary Provide maintenance services and complex machine set-ups to assigned area and other areas as needed by performing the following duties

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • five to seven years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Responsibilities

  • Physically set-up and adjust all complex and intricate machinery on Production floor.
  • Provide technical assistance as requested.
  • Inspect machinery to identify problems.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems related to design and production of products.
  • Troubleshoot tooling and fixturing.
  • Recommend new, improved or modified production tools and equipment.
  • Train and develop new Technicians.
  • Initiate tooling repairs and rework orders.
  • Work cooperatively with Tool Room personnel to resolve tooling problems.
  • Verify initial production run of new or reworked tools.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts for use within the Manufacturing Engineering Department.
  • Program machinery to run as needed.
  • Follow proscribed procedures for plant shutdowns when applicable.
  • Maintain and support auxiliary plant equipment.
  • Dispose of used materials or equipment in an environmentally responsible manner.
