About The Position

LOCATION: ON SITE, 1455 James Pkwy, Heath, OH 43056, United States Responsibilities Complete general safety training to ensure a safe working environment. Attend ISO training to understand and comply with industry standards. Complete forklift safety training to operate machinery safely. Operate packaging equipment, including hand banders, skid compressors, and inkjet printers. Familiarize yourself with packaging specifications and know where to access relevant information. Identify and separate defective coils through visual inspection and quality testing, reporting issues to the crew leader. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Start and stop production lines as needed, responding swiftly to line stoppages and assisting in troubleshooting to restore operations, including resetting equipment faults. Operate the label printer and replace media as necessary for optimal function. Keep an organized inventory of production supplies and promptly report any shortages to the crew leader. Ensure a supply of properly labeled skids is maintained. Perform any additional tasks as assigned Education and Certifications High School graduate or GED required Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred. Qualifications Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. periodically Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to use both arms and hands Ability to bend and stoop frequently Primary – Quality Department but frequently exposed to light manufacturing conditions and extreme temperature Work experience in related industry is an asset but even if you do not have this, we still want you to apply.
