We electrify the worked with advanced grid technology and accelerate the energy transition As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for engaging employees in the mechanical functions of production. You will coordinate activities in expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between areas of production. Manage the assigned area ensuring that safety, quality, production, cost control & continuous improvement objectives are met while providing technical support and training to employees working in the assigned production areas. Oversee and implement Lean initiatives in the responsible areas. Conduct Flash 5 meetings and one-on-one conversations to effectively communicate company policies, objectives, and performance feedback to the workforce in assigned areas. Deliver on-time completion of product produced in the assigned assembly areas. Ensure all material used in the assembly of a job is appropriately charged to the correct job. Maintain a clean and well-organized work area at all times. Coordinate the final quality of the breaker, releasing breaker to and interfacing with quality inspection personnel, providing feedback on quality to concerned employees. Review daily shortage reports and provide feedback to the supervisor on potential upcoming parts shortages. Fill in for production as needed in assembly process. Provide cross functionality & help handling other product coordinator tasks as needed. Communicate weekly reviews with the supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • PC knowledge required
  • HS Diploma or GED and 2 years manufacturing or supervision work experience.
