Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in food-grade manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, allergens, and quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and perform under pressure.
  • Skilled in collaboration, conflict resolution, and adapting to change.
  • Proficiency in mathematics for problem-solving, data analysis, and process optimization.
  • Experience executing SOPs and training employees; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience supervising staff in manufacturing, including shift coordination and operator development.
  • Strong communication skills to guide teams and present operational performance data.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Proven success, improving operational efficiency or reducing downtime.
  • Additional certifications in quality, safety, or manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with safety policies; identify hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead daily production to meet schedule targets, minimizing downtime and maximizing yield.
  • Allocate tasks based on operator skill levels and ensure smooth workflow throughout the shift.
  • Communicate quality deviations, complete all shift documentation, and support operations planning.
  • Perform routine and non-routine sampling of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Ensure all products meet established quality standards and maintain QC equipment functionality.
  • Manage non-conforming products in alignment with SOP requirements.
  • Train new and existing operators across all processing units while maintaining trainer certification.
  • Support staff management activities such as scheduling, absenteeism follow-up, recruitment, and daily shift briefs.
