About The Position

This role involves directly supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers, including inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators. The Production Team Lead I provides operational support services and may act as a first-line supervisor in a transactional operations area, utilizing existing systems and protocols. The position requires operating complex machines and systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity, and generating solutions to complex inefficiencies. It also involves contributing data and information to production plans, running reports, checking accuracy, and distributing information. The lead will train employees in equipment operations, work, and safety procedures, or assign training to experienced workers, while adhering to the organization's EHS policies.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, conflict resolution, time management, and communication skills required.
  • Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months).
  • Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months).
