ABOUT THIS JOB Location: Concert Drive, Virginia Beach, VA Department: Production Planning Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday (8:15AM-5:00PM) Clinical Status: Non-Clinical HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT As a Production Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data using ERP systems and communicating this data to the appropriate staff. You will work with management to analyze forecast demands and develop associated production plans. You will work with production managers and process engineering staff to map systems and processes along with recommending areas of improvement. You will plan weekly production for various production departments. Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent (associate’s degree or the equivalent in secondary education course hours and/or experience)
  • 3 years related work experience with analytics, reporting, and metrics, or tissue processing experience
  • Communication Skill: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
  • Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) Preferred, CPIM or CSCP Preferred
  • 5 years’ related work experience with analytics, reporting and metrics preferred
  • 1 year SAP, ERP, and Tissue Banking or Medical Device/related industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Production Managers/Supervisors to create and modify process orders in ERP for daily production of existing and new allograft products.
  • Gathers production data for routine analysis in a timely manner from ERP and other data sources.
  • Prepares and submits daily, weekly and monthly department activity reports. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws vaid conclusions using data.
  • Analyzes department production data and produces periodic reports regarding production efficiency and key performance indicators. Monitors and participates in the compilation of departmental and divisional quality measures.
  • Works closely with Sales, Marketing, and the Supply Chain Manager to review and finalize forecast demands for each product line.
  • Assists in the creation of tactical production plans for existing and new allograft products.
  • Works with engineering to identify areas for improvement and developing action plans. Communicates operational analyses and trends with appropriate staff
  • Works with database administrator when necessary to maintain and enhance effectiveness of databases.
