About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Production Support Specialist to join the Shipside Support Team based in Portland, Oregon . Our team is currently hiring for either an Associate or Experienced level Production Support Specialist. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that works together to meet our customers' needs with quality, speed, and efficiency. As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Line Side Control Center teams.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing
• 1+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
• 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations
• Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
• Provides limited feedback on assessment results
• Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans
• Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
• Provides expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
• Utilizes tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues
• Facilitates ongoing coordination and tracking of open items
• Analyzes and interprets data
• Provides feedback on assessment results
• Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues
• Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues
• Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates
