About The Position

The Production Support Engineer will support business-critical applications and data platforms. The role involves ensuring operational stability, monitoring, incident response, and continual improvements across cloud, data engineering, and BI ecosystems.

Requirements

  • Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Airflow, Snowflake, SQL.
  • Understanding of AWS services, SQS, Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Datadog, Splunk monitoring.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence.
  • Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, Alerting & Triaging using Datadog, Splunk, and custom dashboards.
  • Incident Management & Service Request handling via ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Problem Management including root cause analysis, RCA documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Change Management following CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Proactive, Preventive, Corrective & Adaptive Maintenance for data pipelines and applications.
  • Support workflows built on Databricks, PySpark, Airflow, Snowflake, and SQL.
  • Cloud & Integration support for AWS, SQS, Kafka.
  • Observability improvements including dashboards & automation in Datadog/Splunk.
  • Knowledge management and documentation using Confluence.
  • Tableau BI support including dashboard refresh troubleshooting and user queries.
