Join Our Team in the Prepared Foods Division as a Production Supervisor! You can expect your day to day include maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include developing & leading cross functional and semi-autonomous culture which includes: hir ing, training, Retaining, and counseling on personal and professional problems as well as educating your team on benefits, compensations, and company policies. Checking daily production paperwork for accuracy such as recipe sheets, quality checks, & shift reports . Ensuring teams have the right tools to perform their job while monitoring their performance Ensuring all machinery is performing and all workstations are at an SQF (safe quality foods) standard Promoting safety daily as by starting shift meetings off with stretching/flexing before team begins work as well as facilitating safety topics Overseeing various processing operations and working with leaders in solving problems using critical thinking skills Utilizing continuous improvement to positively impact KPIs: safety, quality, people, delivery, & cost Ensure GEMBA walks with incoming/outgoing supervisor is being performed addressing areas of opportunity in production Able to communicate effectively when escalating to upper management Prioritize time management and able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment Ensure production team(s) are following GMP and wearing the proper PPE Performing other responsibilities as the need arises REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelors degree or higher is preferred . Experience: 3 + years in a manufacturing environment and prior supervisory experience with direct reports required; food manufacturing experience if highly preferred. Computer Skills : Basic computer skills such as excel, powerpoint, office, & word. Willing to learn company systems: SAP, Power BI, & Workday Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills. Special Skills : Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic, and ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Travel : Some travel is required. This could be to other facilities or to corporate. Preferred Skills (Not Required) : Knowledge of food industry processes and equipment, understanding of financial indicators/analysis, and experience in budget development/management.

Requirements
