Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Plan and manage the daily operation of assigned department(s), including the daily management and maintenance of staffing levels (direct/contract) and budget accountability to accomplish plant objectives in an effective and efficient manner Provide necessary training and reinforcement to workforce to ensure they understand and can apply the skills required to produce quality products according to Greene, Tweed and customer requirements; Administer Company rules, regulations & safety policies, initiating and recommending corrective actions; Provide direction, and strength of Leadership, initiating communication and working cross functionally across all levels, collaborating between shifts/departments on a consistent basis. Addresses issues and maintains availability to operators to answer questions as required; Actively analyze department performance against metrics and identify opportunity for continuous improvement. Creates, posts and communicates to ensure everyone understands their role in achieving plant commitments; Guide workforce in the compliance to Standard Work, recommends improvements in Work Instructions, methods, processes, policies and equipment and ensures operators are informed
