Requirements

  • HSD/GED requires, B.S. degree preferred.
  • 5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Direct supervision experience including coaching, motivating, team building; performance evaluation, time & attendance, discipline, employment selection, retention, termination.
  • Must have strong computer literacy skills/ functional ability for process management, business performance reporting and communication (Microsoft Office, SAP).
  • Strong technical problem solving to include troubleshooting activities relating to equipment failures, process issues, quality and/or environmental issues.
  • Meet requirements to become full face respirator fit tested.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead factory-level operations to deliver on KPIs, budget, and quality objectives; support continuous improvement through Lean initiatives (GEMBA, 5S), audits, and non-standard production activities.
  • Foster Innovation & Adaptability: Encourage out-of-the-box thinking across teams by supporting cross-functional requests, piloting new processes, and adapting operations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure Compliance & Quality: Perform regular ISO audits, maintain accurate production records, and review batch sheets for accuracy to uphold high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Empower & Develop Talent: Identify training needs, oversee execution, and track progress for team development; gather data for performance reviews and set clear expectations aligned with production goals.
  • Optimize Resource & Inventory Management: Procure required supplies and maintain accurate inventory to ensure readiness and minimize downtime in the production area.
  • Enhance Accountability & Oversight: Monitor time and attendance systems, issue necessary disciplinary actions, and ensure full execution of production schedules and contractual commitments.
