The company operates ten manufacturing facilities in eight states. About You The person we are looking for is energetic, success driven, manufacturing savvy, has exemplary leadership skills, and a deep passion for developing people. One who understands the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and can manage a demanding manufacturing process that produces wire reinforcement products to build American infrastructure. You are a role model and leader to your peers and subordinates, and a key player in the success of the business. You believe safety comes first to achieve and sustain Zero Harm outcomes. Position Snapshot A Production Supervisor is commonly expected to know how to lead their team in a production atmosphere and safety oriented. To be successful in this role you will: Directly supervises employees in the Production Department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, checking, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; costs; operation methods; maintaining quality standards; maintaining quantity standards; and carrying out established policy. Additional duties regarding inventory, safety, and quality will be assigned. The above is a snapshot of the duties, additional duties and standards will be applied.
Requirements
- Broad technical training (high school plus 1 to 3 years apprenticeship/applied trades training).
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous work-related experience is required.
- The hired Individual must have above average interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop individuals.
