Main responsibilities: As a Production Supervisor at our milk facility, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the processing operations. Your role will involve leading a team of production associates, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and maintaining quality standards throughout the process. You'll coordinate with other departments to optimize production efficiency, monitor inventory levels, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, as well as addressing any issues that arise during production. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our milk facility. This position is located in Denver, CO

Requirements

Experience in production management within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management approach.
Knowledge of manufacturing best practices, lean principles, and process optimization.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management systems.
Understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMP, OSHA).

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
Compose and deliver performance evaluations.
Corrective action notices and provide constructive feedback.
Train, monitor, and enforce quality control standards.
Address and rectify issues affecting product quality.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.
Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Enforce and promote safety protocols.
Conduct regular safety training for production personnel.
Effectively collaborate with site cross-functional partners. (e.g., quality, logistics, maintenance).
Relay information accurately, in detail, and respectfully effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Train new production employees.
Provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards. (OSHA, HACCP, etc.)
Keep abreast of industry regulations and update procedures accordingly.
Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
Address equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Generate reports for management on production metrics.
