The more you participate, the more you earn! Description: This is a full time, rotating shift Milk Lab Supervisor at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. This position will supervise Milk Lab technicians, create schedules, complete timecards, update competencies and standards of work, and complete yearly evaluations for team members. The Milk Lab Supervisor will also be responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training new Milk Lab Technicians. Other duties include managing ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions; promoting a team-oriented and service-conscious environment; ensuring enteral nutrition personnel compliance with accreditation standards, as well as with federal and state laws and regulations related to enteral nutrition / human milk safety. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires Registration as a Dietetic Technician (DTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). If DTR credential is not held, a bachelor's degree becomes required.
  • Requires ServSafe Manager Certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Requires successful completion of Formula / Human Milk Technician Certification with 1 year of hire.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
