Production Supervisor - Manufacturing
About The Position
Are you a hands on manufacturing leader who thrives on building strong teams, improving processes, and keeping production running safely and efficiently? We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our Belt Manufacturing team on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). This role plays a key part in delivering high quality products on time while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in an ISO 9001 certified environment. What You’ll Do As a Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for day to day production leadership and long term operational improvement, including:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience (with 3+ years in a supervisory role preferred)
- Previous hands-on leadership experience in a production floor environment
- Strong background in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization
- Ability to coach, hold accountability, and lead teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort using ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and standard manufacturing measurement tools
- Ability to learn an extensive and diverse product catalogue
- Must be able to work a set schedule (7:00a – 3:30p) with overtime as necessary
Nice To Haves
- Equipment troubleshooting and root‑cause problem solving
- ISO 9001 or regulated manufacturing environments
- ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Fulcrum, or similar
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and coach production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals
- Ensure smooth production flow and continuity between shifts
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime and prevent reoccurrence
- Drive Lean, A3, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, safety, and efficiency
- Manage staffing, training schedules, overtime, and resource allocation to meet customer demand
- Enforce company and departmental policies, including safety, PPE, attendance, and conduct
- Support onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee development
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Sales to improve products and processes
- Maintain ISO 9001 compliance through daily practices, audits, and documentation
