Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics What you’ll do: As a Supervisor, you are a critical role in the successful facility, including developing a team culture focused on employee engagement and development, and operational execution. The Supervisor is ultimately accountable for every aspect of the manufacturing area - from hiring, training, developing, and managing the people, developing and executing the plan, implementing and improving the processes, to maximizing performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs – including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost). The hours for this for position are Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm. ​The Production Supervisor at Cytiva is responsible for overseeing areas of production by:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management (Engineering preferred - Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Science) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing supervisory experience including involvement and knowledge of operations, supply chain, planning, receiving, shipping, and material flow
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial practices in an operations/manufacturing environment and familiarity leading and facilitating lean manufacturing Kaizen events
  • Experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA, or otherwise)

  • Experience of leading high-performance teams on a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of business systems, engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and provides focus to team to ensure alignment on the critical few
  • Experience in a GMP/GDP environment

Responsibilities

  • Managing time and attendance; ensure schedules meet delivery needs.
  • Driving proactive safety observations and provide training. Prioritize daily safety; investigate and fix unsafe situations.
  • Ensuring products meet customer and regulatory standards.
  • Coaching team to maintain ISO and other certifications.
  • Meeting daily schedule and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets. Solve OTD issues from root cause to permanent fix.
