Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations to ensure efficient and safe production, managing teams, coordinating schedules, maintaining quality, and addressing issues to meet production goals. The Production Supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and drive for continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

5+ years of Manufacturing experience (preferably in automotive) with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).

Nice To Haves

MES and or SAP working knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant manufacturing management frameworks.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and lead a team of production employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.

Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
Implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with other departments to find solutions to problems.
Manage employee performance and address any issues.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control data, and safety procedures.
Prepare reports on production performance and efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
