About The Position

This role will be housed out of our Bloomington, MN campus. The primary hours will be 6:30am - 3:00pm. The Production Supervisor provides leadership and strategic oversight for multiple production areas. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Supervisor partners with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, manage resources, and achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Associate's degree in technical, engineering, or management field is preferred.
Understanding of lean manufacturing, process improvement, and operational excellence.
Strong management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to be hands-on as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, experience with SAP is preferred.
Professional written and spoken fluency in English required.
Generally Monday to Friday, full time; be on-call on some weekends (if required).
Be able to usually work in an office environment; flexible (hybrid) work arrangements available.
Be able to travel up to 5% of the time for trainings.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple production teams to meet or exceed performance, quality, and delivery objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
Oversee staffing, training, and performance management for supervisors and team leads.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams on complex projects and initiatives.
Drive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across production areas.
Mentor and coach team leads to build leadership capability and succession planning.
Analyze production data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
Serve as a key liaison between production and senior management, providing regular updates and recommendations.
Support team members through training and coaching on basic processes and safety standards.
Assist in scheduling and resource allocation to meet production goals.
Maintain accurate records of production output and inventory.
Promote a safe and clean work environment.
Collaborate with team members and engineering teams to resolve minor issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as may be assigned or required by management.
