We recognize you and reward you. We win together as one team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for quality and quantity produced in one production department. Fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance with the production plan. Further on controlling the workflow, checking the availability of materials also coordinates the activities of multiple production departments to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained. Will participate in New Products Introduction process. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, this position is based on-site in Parsons, TN. Responsible for quality and quantity produced in one production department. Ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained. Fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance with the production plan. Participates in New Products Introduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 1 year’s experience in metal manufacturing
- 5 or more years in metal manufacturing (in lieu of education)
- Strong knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes
- Leadership, presentation and training skills
- Organizational and planning skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Must be able to stand and/or walk on the production floor
- Lift 50lbs
- Wear PPE as needed
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality and quantity produced in one production department

- Control the workflow
- Check the availability of materials
- Coordinate the activities of multiple production departments to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained
- Participate in New Products Introduction process
- Ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained
- Coordinate production activities, people, processes, and materials to complete production schedules according to process specifications
- Direct workers as to handling workflow
- Direct multi-functions in manufacturing as well improvements for one department
- Ensure the fulfillment of units to be built in accordance with the production plan
- Ensure accomplishment of SMS System as well as promoting safe behaviors
- Assist in training new employees
- Supervise Team Leads and mentor new supervisors
- Participate in corrective action process
