About The Position
Aegis is currently partnered with a bio medical manufacturer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 10+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, including work in a regulated cGMP environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours and in physically demanding, safety-regulated environments, including use of PPE and participation in safety programs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, high-performance teams, and procedure development preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily production coverage, staffing, scheduling, PTO, training, and overtime while ensuring alignment with production plans.
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable while fostering a culture of ownership, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, safety standards, and global regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, ISO, etc.).
- Lead investigations, root cause analyses, manufacturing exceptions, and corrective actions related to quality, safety, and customer concerns.
- Spend the majority of time on the production floor supporting employees, resolving issues, communicating progress against KPIs, and driving results.
