  • Prior experience supervising or leading production teams in a high-mix, low- to mid-volume environment.
  • Hands-on experience with selective coating equipment (e.g., PVA, Nordson Asymtek) and manual coating processes.
  • Working knowledge of polymer materials including acrylic, urethane, silicone, and parylene coatings.
  • Experience supporting process improvements, defect reduction, and production metrics.
  • Strong floor leadership and people-management skills.
  • Ability to enforce standards while coaching and developing team members.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills in a production environment.
  • Effective communication across operators, engineering, quality, and leadership teams.

  • Ensure standard work, travelers, MPIs, and customer requirements are followed accurately on the production floor.
  • Monitor process parameters and equipment performance for manual, selective spray, dip, and curing processes.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to support process controls, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC-CC-830, IPC-A-610, and customer-specific coating standards.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment setup, and calibration activities with Engineering and Maintenance teams.
  • Track daily output, yield, scrap, and rework; escalate issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Train, qualify, and certify Polymerics personnel; provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Support NPIs, engineering builds, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enforce chemical handling, ESD controls, PPE usage, and environmental health and safety procedures.
