About The Position

Supervise shift personnel: Packers (QSD JD 012) Shipping/Receiving Clerk (QMS JD 011) Material Handler (QMS JD 005) Pouch Machine Operators (QMS JD 006) Printer/Slitter Operators (QMS JD 008) Ensure that product manufactured meets specifications, on time, and within budget Production planning and machine scheduling Inventory control of raw materials and finished goods Train new and current employees Monitor in-process Quality Control Machine set-up and operation Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Good human relation and supervisory skills
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Access or other database applications.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Capable of standing 8-10 hours daily.
  • Able to lift and carry 60 lbs. or more.
  • English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Able to visually recognize colors and particulate as small as 0.8 sq. mm.
  • Successfully complete the following training: HRP100 - Employee Handbook Training.
  • Successfully complete the following training: NWB0044 - New Employee Training.
  • Successfully complete the following training: FL0024 - Forklift Certification.
  • Successfully complete the following training: LO0026 - Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
  • Successfully complete the following training: PO002 - Basic Pouch making.
  • Successfully complete the following training: PO0003 - PO0012 All Pouch machines set-up and operation.
  • Successfully complete the following training: CU0020 - CU0023 Basic cutting, Guillotine and Kluge set-up and operation.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
