Your Role at KIK J oin our team as a Production Shift Supervisor where you’ll play a crucial role in the supervision of production employees to meet production schedules, safety, health, environmental, quality, and cost objectives. This position requires hands-on leadership, combined with driving continuous improvement and the ability to inspire employee involvement. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. What You’ll Be Doing Supervise shift production operators to ensure scheduled workflow, and production objectives are met. Responsible for supervising production activities to achieve production rates that meet or exceed standards, including communicating daily with Production Manager on job priorities/needs. Participate in improving operating efficiencies, reducing costs, training as needed, and performing timely corrective actions. Initiate work notifications in SAP, participate in Management of Change (MOC) and incident investigations as required. Ensures accurate records and production reports and counts, machine speeds, line down time and other data called out in SOPs. Supervises all aspects of personnel performance, staffing, training and discipline within the department. Ensures that duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood. Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans. Keeps production standards up to date. Track efficiencies and rework, and communicates this information to line teams. Ensures that proper levels of Health & Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, housekeeping, and quality are always maintained. The above statement describes the general nature and level of work only. What You’ll Bring 2 years related manufacturing experience in a leadership role with strong technical knowledge of equipment. Demonstrated leadership ability to affect change, consistently drive results, and influence all levels of the organization. The ability to react with urgency to achieve objectives and deadlines despite obstacles and time pressures. Safety Driven Individual, with robust skills in communications and mentoring subordinates to influence change. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments. Accomplished in driving production schedules and improving production efficiency. Skilled in Lean Manufacturing, team building, quality control and assurance. Proficient with computers and software; SAP, MS Office, etc. Must be able to wear SCBA gear during emergency situations. Ability to ascend stairs up to 80’ in height.
