About The Position

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle.

Requirements

  • Understand the products, manufacturing processes, and resource capabilities.
  • Ability to balance conflicting objectives, such as inventory, changeover minimization, and long production runs.
  • Good computer skills utilizing MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Significant product/process knowledge.
  • Proven Organizational skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and adjust well to change.
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to review large sets of data for streamlined decision making.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or trade school diploma required
  • 3 years of related work experience.
  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally we must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production schedules to meet customers and master production plan needs.
  • Develop daily and weekly schedules and balance labor and machine capacity.
  • Monitor progress against the schedule and contact production frequently.
  • Plan production trials, new product introductions, and product discontinuations.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
