Your opportunity : As a Production Scheduler II for Greenheck Group, you will build a production schedule that supports the sales and operations planning of Greenheck Group while maximizing labor usage and ensuring a high level of customer service. Work with manufacturing stakeholders to ensure optimal schedule levels in accordance with plant capacity and key performance indicators. Assist in identifying emerging trends and utilize data to provide capacity adjustments.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in production scheduling required.
  • Mastery in Excel required.
  • Prior ERP experience required.
  • 2 Year / associate degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 Year / bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish schedules in accordance with the overall sales and operations plan.
  • Provide support and communication between sales and production facility for schedule changes and cancelations.
  • Assist in identifying trends and suggest capacity adjustments.
  • Reserve capacity for short lead time programmed orders.
  • Communicate production schedule requirements with operations staff, supply chain, and all applicable business functions.
  • Maintain capacity templates and adjust capacity/manpower as demand dictates.
  • Knowledge and ability to extract reports out of business intelligence software.
  • Interprets and/or organizes the data to drive results.
  • May maintain sales and operations plans with assistance.
  • Recognize and may implement changes to daily capacity and opportunities for labor reduction.
  • Implement changes resulting from engineering or customer requests.
  • Answer and assist with inquiries from the sales department pertaining to production status of an order.
  • Coordinate multiple production schedules to support shipping metrics and customer commitments. This may include multiple production plants.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Verify and adjust the schedule in accordance with the availability of critical parts.
  • Communicate late shipments daily to sales and shipping departments.
  • Create and distribute daily status reports to all necessary business functions.
  • Help to identify gaps within scheduling SAP processes and supports SAP enhancements/improvements.
  • May suggest capacity adjustments in accordance to strategic initiatives.
