About The Position

Under limited supervision, the Lead Production Associate is responsible for leading a team in performing physical tasks involved in receiving, packaging, and labeling of products and materials for Connected Cannabis Distribution.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • 2-3 years of production experience
  • Strong computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
  • Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
  • Comfortable learning new technologies
  • Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to recommend to management well thought out recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Calm under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strongly committed to providing high quality products to clients including the packing and presentation of the products
  • Safety and compliance focused

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the cannabis industry highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for weighing, assembling and packaging cannabis flower
  • Apply compliance labels to all packaged product
  • Responsible for accurate tracking and weighing of all packaging/production projects as assigned
  • Accurately count, process, and pack finished goods for distribution
  • Participation in counting of physical inventory as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition
  • Meet established goals as designated by the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Supports the Production Supervisor by communicating and delegating tasks to a team of receiving associates
  • Upholds compliance and regulatory requirements at all times; maintains the reputation of the company
  • Ensures product is packaged and labeled correctly and organized for proper storage
  • Protects employees and customers by providing and safe and clean store environment
  • Assigns workers to specific job functions
  • Acting as point person for Production Team
