About The Position

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to manage and oversee production schedules, inventory levels, and purchasing demands based on orders and forecasts. The ideal candidate is a highly professional leader with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure. Responsibilities of the Production Planner will include: Coordinate production workflows across multiple projects and processes. Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays. Determine manpower, equipment, and raw material needs to meet production demands. Schedule shifts in alignment with production requirements. Monitor progress to ensure jobs are completed on time. Address and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Collect and analyze production data, including output and defect rates. Prepare and submit detailed status and performance reports. Maintain organized paperwork and production documentation. Collaborate with quality control, production, and other departments. Assist with ERP system development and optimization.

Requirements

  • Communication: Strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain focus and accuracy over long periods.
  • Coordination: Adapt actions in response to dynamic production needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Use mathematics and logic to identify and resolve issues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for planning and scheduling.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in industrial engineering or a similar discipline is a plus.
