About The Position

The Production Planner is primarily responsible for organizing and scheduling production processes to ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing resources and maintaining quality standards; actively on production floor to oversee operations and ensure that processes are running smoothly.

Requirements

  • A degree in operations management, manufacturing, or a related field is often preferred.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in production planning or manufacturing support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize production processes and address any challenges that arise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that production targets are met.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and tools, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in battery, automotive, or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a bilingual environment (Korean/English).

Responsibilities

  • Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with various departments, including purchasing, production, and logistics, to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for production.
  • Monitoring Production Processes: Oversee the production process to identify and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring material supply flow and identifying any shortages or bottlenecks.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze production data and generate reports on production metrics, such as efficiency and utilization, to inform decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production managers and other stakeholders to align production plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
