Requirements

  • Production Scheduling
  • Schedule customer orders in the most economical manner, ensuring all required materials are available for timely production
  • Production entry and work order management
  • Partner with Plant Accounting to resolve material usage variance discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Customer Service regarding machine issues, downtime, preventative maintenance, and impact to OEE and customer commitments
  • Inventory Management
  • Cycle counts, negative inventory resolution, and customer-owned inventory tracking
  • Manage customer-owned inventory and finished goods
  • Review BOMs for finished goods SKUs and submit updates as needed
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Proactively prevent quality issues, production interruptions, and delays through effective communication with Sales and cross-functional teams
  • Execute surveys, collect statistical data, and assist with evaluations as directed
  • Keep purchasing teams informed on supplier status and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records as required
  • Order Management
  • Enter daily production reports
  • Schedule customer orders efficiently while ensuring material availability
  • EDI order management for finished goods
  • Purchasing
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a cost-effective supplier base
  • Support negotiations related to supply sources, pricing, and quotations
  • Assist with supplier list maintenance and consolidation
  • Issue stock and non-stock purchase orders in accordance with policy
  • Maintain procurement documentation including quotes, price lists, and quality assessments
