As a Team Lead in the Production Paint department, you will be responsible for powder coating components and training of team members in powder coating. You will engage frequently with the fabrications leadership group to ensure structures are prioritized. You will be responsible for operator safety. You will prepare and apply powder coat and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces as needed. You will routinely make paint-related repairs to prime product. You will follow all required safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Equipment paint processing experience OR a paint related certificate or degree (trade school / technical degree)
  • Experience in powder coat, topcoat, prime coat and electrostatic paint
  • Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of powder coat paint experience
  • Prior team lead or supervisory experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
