Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join our ISP Freetown Fine Chemicals business at our Freetown, MA. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Operations function. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: This position is essential to keep the plant up and running – your shift might look something like this… Be part of a team working to grow our strengthen and business. Performing batch operations, setup, charging, monitoring, and packaging. Operating dryers, blenders, and packaging equipment. Executing material handling operations; including being able to operate a fork truck – On the job training! 5S related activities in your workspaces. Teamwork – we can’t do it alone.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are part of your DNA.
• Safety-conscious and eager to contribute to a safe working environment.
• You’re a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in plant utilities is a plus, but not a necessity.
