Production Operators are responsible for accurate and timely production of solvent base inks, labeling and moving materials to the appropriate storage location. Utilizes computer system (SAP) to perform transactions as applicable.
Produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures.
Locate materials and supplies and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Carry out various tasks in the preparation, reaction and storage of a variety of products, using mixers, pumps, filters, forklifts and other manufacturing equipment.
Batch processing includes changing material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading, unloading and cleaning equipment, packaging product, maintaining a safe and orderly work area, assisting in other production areas as needed.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Must be able to stand up for 90% of the day.
Must be able to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work any shift.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
