PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. We are currently accepting resumes for a Production Operator in Newark, CA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The position is in the Production Department which is maintaining cleanliness of the facility, operating machinery including forklifts and other projects. It’s a physical job and the environment is dusty and can be hot.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more
- Regular attendance is required
- Must have open availability all days of the week. Weekend availability is required.
- Must be able to work all shifts (Day: 6 am – 2 pm Swing: 2 pm – 10 pm Grave: 10 pm – 6 am) on a Weekly Rotating Basis.

Responsibilities
- Forklift driving
- Provides extra help during equipment failures and special production runs on the machine.
- Assists with “down days” and startup of production line procedures
- Assists in housekeeping duties
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and more
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
