About The Position

Flint Group is actively seeking individuals with strong work ethic and positive attitudes to join our Production Team. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our safety-first environment, executing various tasks to ensure the safe and on-time production of inks. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be involved in receiving raw materials, ink batch production, re-packing materials, and contributing to maintaining an accurate inventory.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures. Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders. Carry out tasks in the preparation, reaction, and storage of various products using mixers, pumps, filters, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment. Handle a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, adhering to safety protocols. Batch processing, including changing material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading/unloading, and cleaning equipment. Package products, maintain a safe work area, and assist in other production areas as needed. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related result

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for 90% of the day.
  • Capable of executing strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work (lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds).
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
  • Basic math/mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work load effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift Experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint) aptitude.
  • SAP Business processing system experience
