About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while driving continuous improvement across all shifts. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of printing/converting processes, and a proven ability to manage people, equipment, and workflow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Proven people‑focused leader who fosters a respectful, supportive environment while maintaining accountability.
  • 7--10 years of production leadership experience, ideally in printing, converting, or envelope manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of envelope‑converting and printing equipment a plus.
  • Robust technical maintenance leadership experience in fast‑paced manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong knowledge of envelope‑converting and printing equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct production operations across three (3) shifts to maintain the highest standards of safety, product quality, operational efficiency, and on‑time delivery within a high‑volume envelope manufacturing plant
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, machine operators, and support staff.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, plant policies, and operating procedures.
  • Monitor production schedules, machine performance, and staffing to meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
  • Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of envelope converting and printing equipment.
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Scheduling, Shipping and Customer Service to identify and resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee engagement efforts.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
